He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Franklin Morris and Lelia Virginia Hawks Morris; his daughter Crystal Jeanne Morris; his grandsons, Joseph Dewayne Dowell and Jonathan Wayne Morris; and his stepson Clayton Junior "Squeaky" McCormick.
He is survived by: his children, Angela (Jerry Hodge), Wayne (Bobbi Morris), Susie (David Robertson), Daniel (Lisa Morris), Jason (Lynn Morris) and Holly Ann Morris; his sisters, Mildred Marshall, Maxine Carlisle, Loyce (Curtis Sowers) and Melody (Steven Slaughter); his close friend Neil Clement; and his pet Dub. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.
