He was predeceased by: his parents, Denny Gentry and Romie Gentry. He is survived by: his wife Iris Shelton Gentry; his son Vince Gentry of Raleigh, NC; his grandson Bobby Ladd; his brother Gaylord Gentry; and his stepchildren, Lynn, Mike, David, Darrell and Misty. He is also survived by five stepchildren; six step grandchildren.
