Ethel Cave Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2020, at the age of 98, Ethel Cave (Lowgap, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Combs and Mattie Payne Combs; her former husband William Yancy Hawks; her husband Charles Clinton Cave; her daughters, Ruby Furn Hawks Davis and Delta Orene Hawks; and her grandsons, Randy Hawks, Victor Lee Edwards and Adam Hawks.
She is survived by: her children, Opal Edwards, Faye (Bill Spencer), Michael (Frances Hawks) and Wavern Hawks. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Due to the limitations of numbers for public gatherings at this time (COVID-19), a private graveside service will be held at Sandy Ridge Primitive Baptist Church.
