It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Mitchell Davis of Lowgap, North Carolina, who passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Doris Mitchell may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Doris Mitchell touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Jackson Mitchell and Guida Higgins Mitchell; and her siblings, William Mitchell (Billy) and Hilda Mitchell Fielder. She is survived by: her daughter Sabrina Keady (Timothy); her grandson Shaun Keady (Bailey); and her great grandchild Ronan Keady. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
