He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gid and Sarah Smith Willey; his wife Ruth Pruitt Willey; and his sisters, Opal Johnson and Ruby Hawks.
He is survived by: his children, Dara (Ronald Gillespie), Paula (Ricky East), Susan (Tom Payne) and Charlie Willey, Jr.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
