It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Usery (Lowell, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on February 4, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Jasper N. Grant and Phoebe Phillips Grant; her brother Melvin; her great-nephew Randy Grant; and her niece Robin Vanderlip.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Usery and Pamela Usery McCarley; her grandchildren, Marcus Usery (Alexis) and Jordan Paxton; her great grandchild Collins Usery; her sister-in-law Joyce Grant; and her nephew Rodney Grant.
