With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louis H. Buchanan of Lowell, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on June 16, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Buchanan and Messer Buchanan of Arizona. He is survived by: his wife Mabel M. Buchanan; his brothers, Edward and Benny Buchanan; his son Mark Buchanan (Karen); his grandchildren, Courtney and Blake; and his caregiver Kim Sloan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Woodlawn Baptist Church, 1101 N. Main St., Lowell, NC 28098 or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
