With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lanny Joe Medlock Sr. (Lowell, North Carolina), who passed away on April 16, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Boyce Medlock and Evelyn Medlock; his wife Sonda Medlock; his sons, David Medlock (Tammy), Lanny Joe Medlock, Jr. and Brian Medlock (Amy); his grandchildren, Kelsey Queen (Ben), Tyler Medlock (Emily), Clay Medlock, Erin Medlock, Caroline Medlock (Max Boone) and Kate Medlock; his great grandchildren, Reagan Queen and Parker Queen; his sisters, Jean Allen (Bruce), Anne Massey (Bobby) and Kathy McCallum (John); his close friend George Gann; and also Robin Medlock.
