He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Dover and Rutha Harmon Dover. He is survived by: his wife Jean C. Dover; his daughters, Amy L. Dover, Samantha H. Terres (Edwin) and Amy H. Caraway (Scot); his brother Charles E. Dover; and his nephew Charles R. "Chuck" Dover.
