He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Fredricksen and Marie Fredricksen; and his brother Scott Fredricksen. He is survived by: his wife Darinda Fredricksen; his children, Scott (Susan Fredricksen), Dana (Jason Bouque) and Jay (Julia Fredricksen); his grandchildren, Brady Bouque and Amelia Parrott; and his sister Janie Morrison.
