It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Weldon Wood (Louisburg, North Carolina), born in Oxford, North Carolina, who passed away on January 27, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon S. Wood and Ida V. Wood; his wife Marguerite Johnson Wood; and his sister Joy Wood Walton. He is survived by: his brothers, Phil Wood (Deborah) and Scott Wood (Pam). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, step children, step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
