It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Verda Murray Carter (Louisburg, North Carolina), who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sahnie Elbert and Nellie Alford Murray; her husband Rex David Carter; and her siblings, Erdeane Cates, Uvelle Murray, Odell Murray, Duvern Murray, Erby Murray, Lama Jones and Inez Carter.
She is survived by: her nephew Tim Carter (Alyce Carter) of Middlesex. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Murray Family Cemetery.
She made a great contribution to her church community by teaching Sunday School and Bible School for many years.
