He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Clarence and Gertrude Dement Harris; his children, Robert Arthur Harris and Teresa Gail Harris; his grandson Matthew Thomas Harris; and his brothers, H. D. Harris and Ezra "Ray" Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Evans Harris; his son Wayne Harris; his grandchildren, Teresa Ayscue and David Harris (Brandi); and his great grandchildren, Kevin James Strickland, Thomas Cole Strickland, Tanner Reece Ayscue and Anabelle Grace Harris.
