He was predeceased by: his father Frederick Earl. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Allyne Musselman Earl; his son Theo "Rusty" Earl; his daughter-in-law Amy Funderburk; and his sisters, Sharon Meyer (Terry) and Jan Mayo.
