She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ruth Mae Harris and William Henry Alexander; her sons, Robert M. Hicks (Laura) of Bunn, NC, Bennie E. Hicks (Lisa) of Louisburg, NC, Vincent J. Hicks (Phyllis) of Warren County, NC and Marshall M. Hicks; and her siblings, Josephine of Louisburg, NC, Dorothy (Amos) of Louisburg, NC, Irene (John) of Louisburg, NC and Thurmon (Catherine) of Louisburg, NC. She was also cherished by eleven grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
