It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Griffin Shearin (Louisburg, North Carolina), who passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Burt and Ruth Benton Griffin; her husband Bobby Bruce Shearin; and her son Alton Wade Shearin. She is survived by: her children, Barry Shearin (Helen), Chuck Shearin, Debbie Carter, Mark, Ken Shearin and Amy Leonard. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren; her 14 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services (804 N Bickett Blvd, Louisburg, NC 27549). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
