He was predeceased by: his brother Harvey Gupton. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Patterson Gupton; his children, Robbie Gupton (Liz Sullivan), Tim Finch (Tracey), Deborah Gupton, Sherri Mundy (Eugene), Crystal Gupton, Cindy Shockley (Scott Williams), Teresa Daniel (Tony) and Amy Napier (Jason); his brothers, Herman "Mickey" Gupton (Rebecca), Charles Gupton (Dorothy) and Kenneth "Kenny" Gupton Bobby (Melanie); his wife Sarah Church; and also, Merdice Hannon, Elizabeth Ellis and Victory Baptist Church. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
