He is survived by: his sons, Richard T. "Peanut" Sanford Jr. (Rhonda), Robert M. Sanford (Ginger), Ronnie K. Sanford (Michelle) and Rodney G. Sanford; and his siblings, Nell Rose Clark, Sylvia Arnold, Carolyn Denton, Freddy Sanford and Gilbert Sanford. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
