He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carl Mitchell and Lallie Morton Mitchell; and his brothers, Clyde and Billy Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Irene Cobler Mitchell; his stepdaughter Linda Rackley (Wayne); his sister Joyce Mitchell Lee; and his nieces and nephews, Michael Strickland (Diane), Kaye Snyder (Skip) and Nancy Massey (Worley). He is also survived by one granddaughter, one great-granddaughter and several other nieces and nephews.
