We are sad to announce that on March 22, 2023, at the age of 95, Rachel Sledge of Louisburg, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charlie Cleveland Sledge, Sr.; her parents, Benny Clifton and Anna Edwards Whitley; and her siblings, Bertie Mae Cone, Bessie Perry and William Jack Whitley.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy S. Alford (Jimmie), Judy S. Gaskins (Bill), Patricia S. Ford (Dan) and Charlie C. Sledge, Jr. (Judy). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
