He is survived by: his girlfriend Paula Thomas; his children, Montrella Alston-Mardenborough (David) of Garner, NC, Cheri Alston of Henderson, NC, Tomeka Thomas of Warrenton, NC, Arnetta Alston of Henderson, NC, Shalanda Alston of Warrenton, NC, Juqakette Alston of Henderson, NC, Patrina Hicks of Siler City, NC and Christopher Thomas of Rocky Mount, NC; his siblings, Sandy Fields (Eugene) of Henderson, NC, Randy Alston (Jackie) of Henderson, NC and Laverne Alston (Clarissa) of Henderson, NC; and his close friend Maude Clayton of Henderson, NC. He is also survived by thirty-three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
