It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene P. Griffin (Louisburg, North Carolina), who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie F. Peele and Daisy Pridgen Peele; and her husband Harold T. Griffin. She is survived by: her children, Chuck Griffin (Lisa), Dale Griffin (Julie) and Karen G. Davis (Scottie); her grandchildren, Lindsey Rieger (Jeremy), Mayci Jones (Holden), Harlee Griffin, Jake Davis, Chase Davis (Anna Joyner) and Grace Furlough; her great grandchildren, Callie, Beckett, Lottie and Birdie; her brother Lemmie Peele (Judy); her niece Renee Bass (Daniel); and her nephew Ashley Peele.
