It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Boone (Louisburg, North Carolina), who passed away on May 14, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa Kennerly (Thomas) of Danville, VA, James Clinton Boone, Jr. of Louisburg, NC and Gregory Boone (Tarnisha) of Bowie, MD; and her brothers, John Cates (Ella) of Irvington, NJ and Joe Cates (Lavern) of Stockbridge, GA. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
