Though Lucretia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertis C. Pearce and Myrtie P. Pearce; her grandparents, Omri, Florence P. Pearce, Wiley R. and Effie May Pearce; and her husband Maston "Matt" White Buttram.
She is survived by: her stepson Edmund David Buttram of Conover, NC; her grandchildren, Brooke Buttram Riske (Jake) of Bent Mountain, VA and Ross David Buttram of Conover, NC; and her great grandchildren, Colton James Riske and Collins Ross Riske of Bent Mountain, VA.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hickory Rock Baptist Church (1580 Firetower Rd, Louisburg, NC 27549). An entombment will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at the Lancaster Memorial Park (2210 NC-561, Louisburg, NC 27549).
