We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2022, at the age of 91, Louis Bobbitt (Louisburg, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Ella Yvonne Bobbitt Cornwell; his mother Ella Johnson Bobbitt; his sisters, Dorothy Bobbitt, Lurlene Bobbitt and Jaunita Bobbitt Smith; and his nephew Robert Bobbitt Lilly.

He is survived by: his wife Ola Mae Boulden Bobbitt; his grandchildren, Michael-Louis Bobbitt Cornwell and Ella Anne Cornwell; his sister Annaionette Bobbitt Lilly of Garner, NC.; his siblings-in-law, Wayne (Linda), Wesley (Connie), Wade Boulden (Irma) of Nashville, NC, Annie Marie Braswell and Alice Lucas of Castalia, NC; and also, Hal Lilly (Sharon), Kenneth and Melissa Williams (Mike).

I have always been appreciative of his allowing me to fish his pond whenever I asked, and working tobacco fields behind the store as a boy.
