He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Harris and Almeater Drakeford Harris; and his siblings, Oscar Harris, Frank Harris, LJ Harris, Leila Mae Harris, Janie Harris Bracey, James Harris, Johnnie Harris and Richard Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Spicer Harris; his children, Kregg Hamilton of Merced, CA, Charles Hamilton of Merced, CA, Joann Hamilton of Anchorage, AK and Dr. Wanda Harris Pemberton (Darryl) of Wake Forest, NC; and his sister-in-law Allie Stover Harris of Camden, SC. He is also survived by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of special nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the White Oak Baptist Church (2640 John G Richards Rd, Camden, SC 29020). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 3:15 PM to 3:30 PM at the White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery (2640 John G Richards Rd, Camden, SC 29020).
