He is survived by: his children, Angela Wilkins of Warrenton, NC and James Wilkins, Jr. (Saemica) of Youngsville, NC; and his siblings, Mary Williams of Louisburg, NC, Brenda Thomas (Steve) of Baltimore, MD and Robert Wilkins (Queen) of Louisburg, NC. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
