He is survived by: his wife Willarene D Buchanan of Louisburg; his children, Heather Buchanan (Anthony) of Zebulon and Deney Buchanan (Tracey) of Spring Hope; his siblings, John Buchanan of Durham, Betty Gaylord of Greenville, Dorothy Canipe of Clayton and Edna Goodrich (Robert) of Fayetteville; his granddaughters, Krista Buchanan, Hayley Buchanan, Maycey Buchanan and Calleigh Proctor; and his great grandchild Camden Buchanan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
