She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Wilbert Stokes; her son Otis Wilbert Stokes (Edith); her grandchildren, Bridgette Stokes, Atiya Jaha-Rashidi, Damon Morris (Vernel) and Aneasha Plush (Tony); her great grandchildren, Nastassia, Asada, Sekou, Bakari, Dejau, Dante, Renee, SheVonna, Cheyenne, Desiree and Devon; her great great grandchild Xavier; her sister-in-law Emma Stokes; her nieces, Vickie and Barbara; and her nephew Elbert Jr..
