He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Leonard and Doris Gupton Leonard; and his siblings, Michael Leonard and Rose Leonard. He is survived by: his children, Herbert Leonard, Jr. (Amy) and Sharon Leonard (Terrell Gupton); his grandchildren, Gabriel Gupton, Taylor and Mason Leonard; the mother of his children Sandy Leonard Davis; his brother Tommy Leonard; and his aunt Pat Leonard Kennedy (Leland).
