She is survived by: her children, Dennis Watson of Little Washington, NC, Joyce Ann Smallwood (James) of Hampton, VA, Brodus Rivers Jr. of Newport News, VA and Victor Lee Rivers (Brigitte) of Youngsville, NC; and her niece Frances Thompson of Newport News, VA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
