It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenn Barefoot of Louisburg, North Carolina, who passed away on August 5, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Barefoot and Octavia Register Barefoot; his wife Ruth Emogene Barefoot; and his children, Glenn "Randy" Barefoot, Jr., Sharon Burnworth and Donna Beachy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lois Murray (Donald) and Linda Marshall; his son-in-law Dane Burnworth; and his siblings, Floyd Barefoot, Gerald Barefoot, Edith Sasser and Iris Costin. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren.
