She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Oswald and Annie Lancaster Parrish; and her husband Ruffin Alton Smith. She is survived by: her daughters, Brittini Parrish DeJesus (William), Miranda Medley Tharrington and Buffy Jo Tharpe (George); and her grandchildren, Taylor Layne Broughton, Jonathan Garrett Tharrington, Chandler Avery Broughton, Melayna Brooke DeJesus, Meredith Claire DeJesus, Ashley Brooke Poole, Lauren Grace Miller, Cohen William DeJesus and Adalyn Parrish DeJesus.
