He was predeceased by: his father Ollie R. Tant; his brother Rufus E. Tant (Thelma Josephine Tant); and his mother Ester B. Tant. He is survived by: his former wife Elizabeth Pearl Medlin; his wife Thelma Josephine Crowder; his daughter Mary Harris; his son-in-law Ben Harris; his grandson Jeremy Greene; his daughter Ginger Baker; his son-in-law Bruce Baker; and his grandchildren, Haleigh Josephine Baker, Bruce Edward Baker II and Haleigh Jo.
