He is survived by: his children, Latoya Cannady Eaton (Chris), Shante Jeffries of Franklinton, NC, Natosha Crudup of Kittrell, NC, Tiffany Cannady of Franklinton, NC, Brian Cannady (Elsie) of Hollister, NC and Gregory Jeffries of Franklinton, NC; and his siblings, Rebecca Leonard (Will) of Louisburg, NC, Mary Solomon (Louis) of Somerset, NJ, William Pettiford of Franklinton, NC, Carl Pettiford of Warrenton, NC and Curtis Pettiford of Louisburg, NC. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
