It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Strickland of Louisburg, North Carolina, who passed away on January 29, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his sons, Arthur Strickland (Sharon) of Clayton, NC, Tim Strickland (Latonya) of Louisburg, NC and Batone Hicks of Louisburg, NC; and his siblings, Joanne Battle of Louisburg, NC, Melissa Dean of Louisburg, NC, Roma Strickland (Delois) of Ft. Washington, MD, John Thomas Strickland of Balitmore, MD, Charles Strickland (Jewel) of Deer Park, NY, Willie Strickland (Beulah) of Louisburg, NC, Baby Ray Strickland of Louisburg, NC and Morris Strickland of High Point, NC. He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
