He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sam McCollum and Audrey McCollum; his wife Joan McCollum of Locust; his children, Brian McCollum of Detroit, Kathaleen McCollum Levings (Rob Levings) of Milton, Fla and Megan McCollum of Washington, D. C.; his grandson Liam Levings; and his sister Myrtis Rainwater of Union, S. C.. He was also cherished by nephews, nieces, in-laws and cousins.
