She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Willard Efird, Sr. and Dora Jane Clontz Efird; her former husband Billy Mac Connell (Gerald Wayne Brafford); and her brother Frank "Bug" Willard Efird, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Dwain Connell (Angie) of Chesterfield, VA and Tanya Crisco (Rodney) of Albemarle; her sister JoAnn Huneycutt of Stanfield; her daughter Jennifer Smith of Oakboro; her stepchildren, Turina Laws (Clint), Jeff Brafford (Cathy) and Janna Davis (Sam); her grandchildren, Emily Connell, Katherine Connell, Sarah Connell, Conner Crisco, Kaitlyn Crisco, Britany Murphy, Madison Smith and Gage Smith; and her sister Ann. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
