He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Barbee and Mary Honeycutt Barbee; and his siblings, Lorene Almond, Herman and Carmen Barbee.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Smith Barbee; his children, Doug Barbee (Karris), Alan Barbee (Lori) and Kendra Barbee Tucker (Gary); his siblings, Kenneth Barbee (Red), Doris Imlay and Donna Barbee; his grandchildren, Morgan Tucker, Maegan Tucker, Hannah Rushing (Brent), Bradley Barbee and Dustin Barbee (Trivia); and his great grandchild Kylin Velt Barbee.
