He was predeceased by: his parents, Ransom Reece Smith and Ruby Arleen Smith. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Smith of Locust, NC; his children, Cody Smith (Carolyn) and Jerika Smith Whitley (Casey); his brother Brian Smith (Penny); and his grandchildren, Savy, Sage, Gray, Vaylor and Vallyn.
