She is survived by: her husband Paul Starnes Jr.; her sons, Paul Starnes III (Chassidy) of Oakboro, Phillip Starnes (Melanie) of Locust, Preston Starnes (Lisa) of Albemarle and Patrick Starnes (Joanna) of Charlotte; her brother Michael Smith; and her grandchildren, Anna Marie Starnes, Paul Starnes IV, William Starnes, Megan Starnes, EmmaLee Starnes, Ashton Starnes, Gavin Starnes, Colten Starnes, Luke Starnes, Mason Starnes, Patrick Starnes Jr., Noah Starnes and Jacob Starnes.
