It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sarah Barrier of Locust, North Carolina, who passed away on September 14, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Ralph Mills and Lessie Emma Harris Mills; her former husband Joseph Davis Barrier; her grandson Kyle Allen; and her siblings, Gene Mills, Betty Eudy and Shirley Hildreth.

She is survived by: her husband Gilbert "Red" Picklesimer of Locust, NC; her children, Ray Barrier of Mount Gilead, NC and Janet Allen (Rick) of Stanfield, NC; her grandson Ramsey Allen (Brandy); her great grandchildren, Ellie, Layla and Remi Allen; her siblings, Lewis Mills and Judie DeMuth (Jay); and her stepdaughters, Sandra Warren (Donald), Brenda Godbey and Crystal Snyder (Ken).
