Oscar Pethel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oscar Pethel of Locust, North Carolina, born in Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on June 5, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Pethel and Ruth Pethel Bridges; his son Roger Dale Pethel; and his sister Nancy Carol Aderhold. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie N. Pethel; his children, Tim Pethel (Toni), Donna Brooks (Donald) and Kathy Smith (Tony); his sister Jacqueline Barbee; and his grandchildren, Brian, Cory, Anthony, Justin, Cody, Jerika, Chris and Matthew. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
