It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Louise Barbee of Locust, North Carolina, who passed away on April 16, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard Milton Smith and Rettie Brattain Smith; and her husband Velt "Bud" Barbee. She is survived by: her children, Doug Barbee (Karris), Alan Barbee (Lori) and Kendra Tucker (Gary). She is also survived by five grandchildren; and four great-grandsons.

Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church.
