He is survived by: his children, Reggie Wilson Carroll (Jewell) of Mount Pleasant, NC and Dana Drye-Nixon of Concord, NC; his sister Barbara Goins of Norwood, NC; his grandchildren, Kristine Gagnon (Matt), Brandon Carroll, Tristam Bost and Benjamin Nixon; and his great grandchild Kylee Gagnon.
