She was predeceased by: her parents, John Broome and Alice Broome; her brothers, John Broome and Jimmy Broom; and her grandson Ivan DelRivero.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Ferguson (Karen) of Mint Hill and Sherrie DelRivero of Locust, NC. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
