We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Charles Edward Higgins Sr. of Locust, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As we bid adieu to Charles Edward's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Charles Edward has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Higgins and Mildred Higgins. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Higgins; and his sons, Charles Edward Higgins, Jr. (Kim) of Sanford, FL, Virgil Higgins (Alicia) of Troy, NC and Raymond Higgins (Jennifer) of Oakboro, NC. He is also survived by five grandsons, one granddaughter, three great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.

A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Locust Presbyterian Church Cemetery (607 W Main St, Locust, NC 28097).

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Tillery Compassionate Care (960 N 1st St, Albemarle, NC 28001) or Locust Presbyterian Cemetery Committee (PO Box 277 Locust, NC 28097).
