He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Adams and Ercie Brown Adams; his wife Joyce Wood Adams; his brother-in-law Claude Mills; and his nephew Douglas Farris.
He is survived by: his sister Gladys Mills; his sister-in-law Sally Brown; and his caregivers, Glenda Matthews, Susan Cook, Sheila Keever and Tuck Brown. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
