It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Hartsell (Locust, North Carolina), who passed away on July 22, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brother Joe Smith. She is survived by: her children, Jimmie Hartsell (Belinda) of Locust, Roger Hartsell (Mable) of Oakboro, Kathy Hartsell Barbee of Locust and Cindy McDougal (Douglas) of Lancaster, SC; and her siblings, Helen Lambert of Locust and Leroy Smith of Stanfield. She is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
