It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William White (Littleton, North Carolina), who passed away on January 11, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Scott and Catherine White Alston; his stepfather James "Hoss" Alston of Littleton, NC; his son Wayne L. White of Littleton, NC; his siblings, James E. White of Baltimore, MD and Mavrice F. Avon of Littleton, NC; and his close friend Shirley "Peaches" Jones of Littleton, NC..
He is survived by: his children, Roderick White (Courtney) of Stafford, VA, Timothy "Timmy" White (Angel) of Baltimore, MD, Yolanda White of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Jocelyn White of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his siblings, Herbert Alston of Seaboard, NC, Ronald "Ronnie" Brooks (Jackie) of Joppa, MD and Novella Butler (Billy) of Baltimore, MD; his siblings-in-law, Robert Avon of Littleton, NC and Angel White (Bonus) of Baltimore, MD; his children, Terry Williams (Angela) of Littleton, NC, Kelvin of Littleton, NC, Craig Jones of Littleton, NC, Bonus and Jennifer Jones of Littleton, NC; and also, William and Inetter Eaton. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Because of Covid-19, the wearing of masks, social distancing, and limiting the number of persons in attendance will be practiced.
